A family of 6 needed more kitchen space, and we delivered! This used to be two separate rooms: kitchen and formal dining room. We removed a wall, added the window on the shiplap wall, and put CUSTOM cabinets throughout! Now the homeowners have a roomy space for the whole family!

Kitchen Remodel - Jackson

This MASSIVE addition nearly doubled the square footage of the existing home! You can see from the "Before" pictures how much was added. This included an entire exterior makeover, new windows, LP Smartside, Screeneze screen porch. The basement level added a bathroom and storage area. Main level added a mudroom and extension onto the kitchen. 2nd floor added a new master suite with bath and walk-in closet. 

(KFH handled demo, excavation, concrete, rough framing, boiler system/HVAC, rough plumbing, electrical, drywall. While we do have the ability to handle interior finishing, the homeowners were taking that on as their own project.)

Home Addition - Wauwatosa

What used to be an old, dark, and cramped bathroom is now bright, open, and beautiful! We opened up walls and the ceiling, added the platform, moved around the plumbing layout, and updated all finished to give create a truly Modern Bathroom.

Bathroom Remodel Cedarburg

This bathroom used to be dressed in 1960s pink fixtures and outdated vanity/flooring. An update to the aesthetic as well as some repairs on the rotting subfloor will make this an enjoyable space for the next 40 years!

Carriage House & Breezeway - Slinger

Built in the early 1900s and nestled in the hills of Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine, this farmhouse exterior aged gracefully through the years as family energy was spent on their busy lives. As they were slowly able to turn their focus back to their home, the family came to realize that over these years the aging house began too look as worn down as they felt. In the fall of 2020, they partnered with us at Krause Family Homes and began design work to give the house the facelift and added functional space that they envisioned for themselves. Now, extending from the existing house, a three-seasons breezeway reaches out to a massive carriage house providing the family new space for vehicles, ATVs, search and rescue equipment, and a myriad of gardening tools.

Hard to believe this space used to be split by a dividing wall and door! We opened this space up and gave it a modern facelift using a mix of geometric tiles and a contracting circular mirror all in a clean modern white and black pallette.
